Stuffed Mushrooms

Delightful stuffed mushrooms filled with a cheesy mixture and baked to perfection, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushroom caps
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (e.g., Parmesan or mozzarella)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, thyme)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushroom caps and remove the stems.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, cheese, garlic, herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spoon the mixture into each mushroom cap.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, choose large mushroom caps and don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. You can customize the filling as desired.
