Ingredients
- 12 large mushroom caps
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (e.g., Parmesan or mozzarella)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, thyme)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushroom caps and remove the stems.
- In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, cheese, garlic, herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the mixture into each mushroom cap.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For best results, choose large mushroom caps and don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. You can customize the filling as desired.
