Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb chicken breasts, diced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced chicken until golden and cooked through.
- Add the sauce to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Serve the sticky chicken over a bowl of cooked rice.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Make sure to cook the chicken thoroughly until it’s no longer pink inside. For a quick prep, use leftover rice or pre-cooked rice.
