Simple Egg Bake Casserole

A quick and hearty breakfast casserole that is easy to prepare and packed with protein, ideal for busy mornings or cozy brunches.

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (like bell peppers, onions, and spinach)
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage or ham (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in the cheese, diced vegetables, and cooked meat if using.
  4. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is slightly golden.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
