Ingredients
- 1 lb sausage
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup bread cubes (optional)
- 1 cup diced vegetables (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned; drain.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Layer sausage, cheese, and optional bread/vegetables in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with fresh fruit, toast, or a light salad. Optionally sprinkle fresh herbs on top before serving.
