Perfect Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Delicious wraps filled with juicy chicken, gooey cheese, and a punch of garlic flavor, perfect for any meal.

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Continue cooking until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside (about 5-7 minutes).
  5. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  6. Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  7. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  8. Sprinkle about 1/3 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese over half of the tortilla.
  9. Top with cooked chicken.
  10. Sprinkle another 1/3 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese over chicken.
  11. Fold the tortilla in half, pressing gently to seal.
  12. Brush the outside of the wrap with melted butter.
  13. Place wrap in the preheated skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  14. Remove wrap from skillet, let cool slightly, and cut in half.
  15. Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding sautéed vegetables or different types of cheese.
