Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls

Delicious dessert combining pecan pie flavors with flaky crescent rolls.

  • 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture.
  3. Stir chopped pecans into the remaining mixture until coated.
  4. Unroll crescent dough, separate into triangles. Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of pecan filling onto the widest side of each triangle. Roll towards narrow end.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes until set.
  6. Brush rolls with reserved sugar mixture and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Optional: sprinkle additional chopped pecans on top before serving.

Notes

Best served warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
