Monster Mac and Cheese

A fun and indulgent dish perfect for cheese lovers, this creamy mac and cheese is sure to impress and satisfy cravings.

Ingredients

  • 250g macaroni
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni in a large pot of boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In another pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the flour and stir for about 1 minute to create a roux.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring to avoid lumps. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add the cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan to the creamy mixture and stir until melted and well combined.
  6. Incorporate the mustard, salt, and pepper.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Pour everything into a baking dish and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a bit more milk if necessary. Feel free to customize with vegetables or proteins.
