Description

A delicious twist on classic deviled eggs, featuring crispy bacon and a creamy yolk mixture.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing to a boil, covering, and removing from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes, then cool and peel.
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces.
  3. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, combine the egg yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  5. Fold in the crumbled bacon into the yolk mixture.
  6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  7. Top with chopped chives and, if desired, add extra crumbled bacon.
  8. Enjoy your deviled eggs chilled or at room temperature.
