A delicious twist on classic deviled eggs, featuring crispy bacon and a creamy yolk mixture.
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives for garnish
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing to a boil, covering, and removing from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes, then cool and peel.
- Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces.
- Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
- In a bowl, combine the egg yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the crumbled bacon into the yolk mixture.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Top with chopped chives and, if desired, add extra crumbled bacon.
- Enjoy your deviled eggs chilled or at room temperature.
