Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

A comforting and delicious chicken dish featuring crispy breadcrumbs and cheese, perfect for impressing family or guests.

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs and milk together until well mixed.
  4. Place the flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until it turns golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  8. In a bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella, and minced garlic.
  9. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the chicken.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in Italian dressing before dredging. Make sure the oil is hot for a crispier coating.
