Ingredients
- 500g steak (flank or sirloin)
- 2 cups sushi rice or basmati rice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1-2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the rice: Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Marinate the steak: In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the steak and let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Cook the steak: Heat a pan over high heat and cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium. Remove from the pan and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Prepare the spicy sauce: In a bowl, combine cream and gochujang. Mix until smooth.
- Assemble the bowls: In a bowl, place a serving of rice, add sliced steak, and drizzle with spicy sauce. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
