  • 2 cups sushi rice or basmati rice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 12 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice: Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  2. Marinate the steak: In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add the steak and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the steak: Heat a pan over high heat and cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium. Remove from the pan and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. Prepare the spicy sauce: In a bowl, combine cream and gochujang. Mix until smooth.
  5. Assemble the bowls: In a bowl, place a serving of rice, add sliced steak, and drizzle with spicy sauce. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.

Serve warm with vegetable chips or sautéed vegetables for a balanced meal. You can add fresh veggies or avocado for extra color and flavor.
