Description

A delightful twist on the classic comfort food, combining the flavors of Italy with hearty ground chicken.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Make a well in the center of the meatloaf and fill it with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Top the meatloaf with marinara sauce and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
