Grilled Cheese Burrito

A delicious fusion of a cheesy delight and a hearty burrito, filled with seasoned beef, rice, and gooey cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Drain excess grease, add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for better flexibility.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat and add layers of cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, and sour cream. Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.
  4. Heat a clean skillet and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese. Place burrito seam-side down and cook until cheese melts and forms a crispy crust, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Notes

Serve with extra nacho cheese or sour cream on the side. Pairs well with salad or tortilla chips.
