Gingerbread Truffles

Sweet chocolate-covered truffles infused with classic holiday gingerbread flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed gingerbread cookies
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 8 oz chocolate (for melting)
  • Festive sugar (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix crushed gingerbread cookies, cream cheese, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg until well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
  5. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  6. Place them back on the lined baking sheet and sprinkle with festive sugar or spices before the chocolate sets.
  7. Allow the chocolate to harden in the refrigerator.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
