Easy Sausage and Egg Casserole

A simple and tasty breakfast casserole made with sausage, eggs, and cheese that is perfect for busy mornings.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the cooked sausage, cheese, bell peppers, and onions if you are using them.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set.
  7. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days or freeze individual portions for up to a month.
