Description

A refreshing and light salad combining crisp cucumbers with bright flavors of dill and onion in a creamy dressing, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the cucumbers and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Add the chopped dill and thinly sliced red onion.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the yogurt (or sour cream), lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the cucumber mixture and toss gently to combine.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled as a side dish or light meal. Garnish with fresh dill for presentation.
