Crispy Garlic Parmesan Roasted Green Beans

A delicious and healthy side dish featuring crunchy green beans with savory garlic and parmesan.

  • 1 lbs. green beans
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil (or olive oil)
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Lemon, to squeeze over the top (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Trim both ends off the green beans.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the green beans, oil, minced garlic, parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss until fully coated.
  4. Pour the coated green beans onto the baking pan in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice over the top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
