Creamy Tomato Garlic Pasta

A quick and comforting pasta dish featuring creamy tomato sauce and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Spaghetti or Fettuccine
  • 4 medium Ripe Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Extra Basil Leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook your pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped fresh tomatoes (or canned) to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated. Stir in parmesan cheese and chopped basil.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed and heat through for another minute or two.

Notes

Use ripe tomatoes for best flavor, and feel free to customize with chicken, shrimp, or veggies. Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
