Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups frozen diced hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
  • 10 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until it’s fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
  3. Spread the frozen hash browns evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the hash browns, followed by the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, bacon, and scallions.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the ingredients in the baking dish.
  7. Use a spoon or spatula to gently press down and ensure all ingredients are soaked in the egg mixture.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set.
  9. Remove the casserole from the oven, uncover it, and allow it to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing.
  10. Serve warm with your favorite morning beverages.
