Description

A hearty and delicious breakfast casserole combining crispy bacon, creamy eggs, and savory cheese over a layer of hash browns.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or bell peppers for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the hash browns evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese over the hash browns.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the eggs are set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then garnish with green onions or bell peppers if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
