  • 6 cups stale bread, cubed
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the cubed bread, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
