Ingredients
- 1 cup pastina (star-shaped pasta)
- 1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a pot, heat a little oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the pastina and cook according to package instructions.
- Once the pasta is al dente, add the shredded chicken and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
