Description
Deliciously sweet and chewy blondies made with brown sugar and a hint of cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the brown sugar until combined.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
- Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle on top before serving.
Notes
To keep the blondies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
