Christmas Tree Deviled Eggs

Festive and colorful deviled eggs shaped like Christmas trees, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 3 Tbsp. dill pickle relish
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 drop green food coloring (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a large pot with 2 inches of boiling water. Cook for 12 minutes.
  2. Immediately transfer eggs to a large bowl of ice water and let cool completely, about 12 minutes.
  3. Peel the eggs, halve them lengthwise, and remove the yolks. Place the yolks in the bowl of a food processor.
  4. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, pickle relish, parsley, dill, optional food coloring, salt, and pepper to the food processor. Process for 1-2 minutes until completely smooth.
  5. Transfer the filling to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a 1/2-inch corner snipped off.
  6. Fill the hole of each egg white half, then pipe the filling in a back-and-forth motion to create a triangle (Christmas tree) shape.
  7. Sprinkle the finely diced red pepper over the ‘trees’ to look like ornaments. Garnish with more fresh dill if desired.
  8. Serve immediately or chill.
