Christmas Tree Cake Truffles

Delightful truffles made from Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, perfect for the festive season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
  • 8 ounces white chocolate or candy melts
  • 3 tablespoons festive sprinkles
  • 3 tablespoons red candy melts (for drizzling; optional)
  • Green sanding sugar for decoration

Instructions

  1. Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Mix the cakes together with a handheld mixer until crumbly dough forms. Add in the festive sprinkles and mix well.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough and roll it in the palms of your hands to form small balls. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat until all the dough is rolled.
  4. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl or use a double boiler.
  5. Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, coating it fully. Let the excess chocolate drip off, then return it to the baking sheet.
  6. Melt the red candy melts in a piping bag or a ziplock bag in the microwave in 30-second increments. Gently massage the bag between intervals to make sure the candy melts are fully melted.
  7. Snip the edge of the ziplock or piping bag and drizzle the red candy melts over the truffles. Sprinkle the top with green sanding sugar and let them set in the fridge for a few minutes.

Notes

Chill cake balls before dipping to maintain shape. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge or freeze for longer storage.
