A fun and tasty treat combining Chex cereal, chocolate, and peanut butter, perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 cups Chex cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup festive sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Measure the Chex cereal and place it in a very large mixing bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt and combine the butter, chocolate chips, and peanut butter, stirring constantly until smooth.
  3. Once fully melted, stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal in three stages, folding the cereal gently as you go to coat it evenly.
  5. Toss gently to ensure that all pieces are well coated.
  6. In a large, airtight plastic bag, add the powdered sugar and festive sprinkles. Shake to combine.
  7. Add the coated Chex cereal to the bag in stages, tossing it to cover. Remove the coated cereal to a wax paper-lined, rimmed baking sheet.
