Christmas Cranberry Meatballs

A festive appetizer combining savory meatballs with a sweet and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 pound ground beef or pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
  3. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  4. In a saucepan, mix cranberry sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard over medium heat until warm and combined.
  5. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and toss to coat.
  6. Serve warm as appetizers.

Notes
