  • 8 slices of bread for French toast

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • Maple syrup
  • Fruit toppings (berries, bananas)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Christmas rolls by following the dough instructions. Shape them into rolls and bake until they are golden brown.
  2. For French toast, dip slices of bread in a mixture of beaten eggs and milk. Cook each slice on a skillet until browned on both sides.
  3. Make pancakes according to the package or homemade directions. Add holiday spices like cinnamon and nutmeg to the pancake mix for an extra festive flavor.
  4. Serve everything warm, with syrup and fruit toppings on the side.

Notes

For the rolls, let the dough rise fully for the lightest texture. Use fresh bread for the French toast for a better flavor.
