Chocolate Hot Cups

Delicious and creative chocolate cups perfect for sipping hot chocolate.

Ingredients

  • Disposable cups
  • 1 cup melted milk chocolate
  • Candy canes
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • Mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave on low power, keeping an eye on it to prevent burning.
  2. Once melted, carefully pour chocolate into disposable cups, swirling to coat the sides evenly. Let set.
  3. To reinforce the structure, repeat pouring and letting the chocolate set again.
  4. Peel away the disposable cups once hardened.
  5. Pour a bit more melted chocolate into each cup and insert a candy cane. Allow to dry.
  6. Add cocoa powder on top of the candy cane and layer in mini marshmallows. Drizzle with melted chocolate to hold marshmallows in place.
  7. Decorate each cup with melted chocolate and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  8. For the final touch, dip the bottom of each cup into melted chocolate.
  9. Serve by placing a chocolate cup into hot milk, let sit, then stir.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature. For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
