Ingredients
- 1 lb Smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 Bell pepper, diced
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced bell peppers and sauté for another 3 minutes.
- Add rice and Cajun seasoning, stirring to combine.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to suit your spice preference. For extra flavor, ensure the sausage is nicely browned.
