Breakfast Egg Casserole

A delicious and hearty breakfast dish combining eggs, cheese, and sausage, perfect for gatherings or meal prep.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 pound cooked sausage (crumbled)
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 cup diced onion (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
  3. Stir in the cheese, crumbled sausage, bell peppers, onion, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and pour the egg mixture into it.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Let the casserole cool slightly before cutting; this makes it easier to serve.
