Breakfast Casserole

A warm, hearty Breakfast Casserole packed with protein and cheesy goodness, ideal for gatherings or family brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet, brown the breakfast sausage over medium heat. Once cooked, drain the excess grease.
  4. Spread the crescent rolls evenly in the bottom of the 9×13 dish.
  5. Layer the browned sausage over the crescent rolls.
  6. Pour the beaten eggs over the sausage evenly.
  7. Generously top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the oven at 350°F for 30 minutes or until set and golden.

Notes

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm with fresh fruit or avocado.
