Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole

A hearty breakfast casserole that combines tender biscuits, savory sausage, and creamy eggs, perfect for brunch or a cozy weekday morning.

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks; drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Tear the biscuits into pieces and place them in the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly over the biscuit pieces, then pour the egg mixture on top.
  6. Add shredded cheese on the top.
  7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, optionally drizzle some gravy over the top for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
