Baked Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip

A creamy and tangy dip with a sweet and tart cranberry flavor, perfect for gatherings and parties.

  • 2 cups Extra-Sharp Cheddar cheese (grated, divided)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup cranberry sauce (canned, leftover, or homemade)
  • ½ cup fresh cranberries (may substitute with frozen, do not thaw)
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice (fresh squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh)
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Optional: In a pot, mix cranberries, sugar, orange juice, lemon juice, and water. Cook until cranberries burst and sauce thickens (10-15 minutes). Let cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and half of the grated cheddar cheese.
  4. Stir in cranberry sauce and fresh cranberries, adding nutmeg if desired.
  5. Spread mixture in a baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Serve hot with crostini, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother mixture. Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
