Description
A classic grilled cheese sandwich elevated with crispy bacon, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 2-4 slices of cooked bacon
- Butter (for spreading)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Add cheese slices evenly on top.
- Layer the cooked bacon on top of the cheese.
- Place the second slice of cheese on top of the bacon, then top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with tomato soup or salad for a classic combo.
