Description

A classic grilled cheese sandwich elevated with crispy bacon, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2-4 slices of cooked bacon
  • Butter (for spreading)


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Add cheese slices evenly on top.
  5. Layer the cooked bacon on top of the cheese.
  6. Place the second slice of cheese on top of the bacon, then top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  7. Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with tomato soup or salad for a classic combo.
